Activities

To meet our goals, we host many events, usually held in southeastern Pennsylvania. 

Some examples include:

 

Regular hands-on workshops in proper grooming for both show and pet dogs

Seminars on understanding the breed standard using our own dogs as examples

Introductory workshops in show handling

Talks on dog behavior by knowledgeable speakers

Hunt training with expert gunners and live birds

“Just for Fun” activities like indoor and outdoor dog swims, picnics, and pa

 

 

Annual Events

Two annual events are especially important to us :

An outdoor match show in early fall

A supported entry at the Philadelphia Kennel Club dog show in Nov


Members also work to raise money for English Cocker Rescue through raffles and other events.

 

 

Annual LECSF Meeting and Picnic
Date:  Saturday August 15, 2009
Time:  12:00 pm - 3:00 pm

This annual event combines a social event for the members, the annual meeting on LECSF business, the election of LECSF officers and board members, and BAER testing. By-law amendments will be discussed and a vote taken.

 

Bring a covered dish, dogs, chair and swim wear.  Please call Anne McCullough (610-827-7469) to RSVP and to get information on food items you should bring (salad, dessert, etc). 

 

If you plan to take advantage of Dr. Loews BAER Hearing Clinic please call Bob Wright (610-792-1678) to make and appointment.  The clinic begins at 10:00am.
